The Catalan Sheepdog is between 17 and 19 inches high; weighing between 45 to 60 pounds. Their coat is long and wavy. The colors range from fawn, sable to light and dark gray. The life span is between 12 to 14 years.
Their personality is pleasant, cheerful, and brave. They are a hardy stock devoted to its' owners and are wary of strangers. An extremely intelligent dog that requires a firm owner to be the pack leader. This dog is active and needs daily exercise. Because the Catalan sheepdog is so intelligent, they are easy to train. These dogs make great companion dogs.
